Mick Schumacher repairs and uses chassis damaged in a major crash / Haas F1 Team F1 Australian Grand Prix[F1-Gate .com]

Haas F1 Team Mick Schumacher will be able to use the VF-22 chassis, which had a major crash at the previous F1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, at the F1 Australian Grand Prix this weekend.

Mick Schumacher suffered a major crash in the F1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix qualifying, the VF-22 was split into two and the rest of the cars were completely destroyed. The Haas F1 Team has decided to miss the race on Sunday to preserve spare parts.

Most importantly, it was unharmed in a horrific accident that Mick Schumacher himself said had had the same accident 20 years ago, but the results were probably different.

Guenther Steiner, head of the Haas F1 Team, said the damage to the rest of the car’s parts was irresistible, but the chassis might continue to be used at Albert Park.

“The chassis is damaged, but not so big,” Guenther Steiner told F1 Nation.

“The rest of the car is broken, but the chassis isn’t.”

Guenther Steiner, who was asked to use it once more, confirmed, “Of course.”

“Chassis needs to change the side impact structures. They did the job. They did the job by being destroyed.”

“Other than that, it’s a small thing that can be easily fixed.

Mick Schumacher said he was ready to race in the F1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, calming concerns that he might have had such a big accident and lost confidence in driving.

Mick Schumacher, the first driver to visit Melbourne next weekend, says he is looking forward to competing on a circuit that has changed significantly since the last time it was held.

“I think we have a competitive car that we can fight, which is great,” said Mick Schumacher.

“I think a truck like this with road cars running all year round is like most other trucks that need to get used to.”

“My dad held a lap record at Ferrari in 2004. I had the opportunity to drive the car. It was a great car.”

“In fact, we carve our laps with a similar car. It’s interesting because the car is time slipping, the front wing is high and it looks a bit the same. Of course, it’s a lot bigger than 2004. It’s different, but it’s still great to drive with the VF-22. “
