MORELIA, Mich., June 4, 2023.- The Michoacán DIF System, headed by the honorary president of the Board of Trustees, Grisel Tello Pimentel, works on a co-responsibility mechanism together with the DIF Municipal Systems, for the design of strategies that guide the population to make better decisions regarding food.

A statement indicates that through the Department of Attention to Families in Vulnerable State and Municipal Link (AFEVEM) of the agency, it launches the design of cyclical menus to promote healthy eating among the population, which favors improving their quality of life. life.

Said menus are made up of 20 dishes that are designed with nutritional quality criteria that are described in the Comprehensive Strategy for Social Assistance, Food and Community Development (EIASADC), which is issued by the National DIF System, which will allow the promotion of orientation actions and food quality assurance.

These programs are aimed at population groups with a high and very high degree of marginalization in the 113 municipalities of the entity, and who present problems of malnutrition.
