Malaysian actress, Michelle Yeoh, officially married Jean Todt on Thursday (27/7) in Geneva, Switzerland.
The Everything Everywhere All at Once star is finally getting married following 19 years of being engaged to Jean Todt.
Michelle Yeoh was first proposed by the former Ferrari boss on July 26, 2004. Michelle Yeoh and Jean Todt’s wedding took place in private. The guests consisted only of family and close friends.
The happy day was later revealed when racer Felipe Massa uploaded a photo of the wedding invitation via Instagram.
The invitation contains the initials of the names of the bride and groom, MY and JT, as well as a photo of them when they were young.
Apart from that, Michelle Yeoh and Jean Todt also revealed their love journey on the invitation.
“We first met in Shanghai on June 4, 2004. On July 26, 2004, JT proposed to MY and he agreed,” the invitation read.
“Today, following 6,992 days on 27 July 2023 in Geneva, surrounded by our beloved family and friends, we are happy to celebrate this special moment together,” he continued.
Before officially marrying Michelle Yeoh, Todt was better known as an important executive in the world of car racing, as well as his important involvement for the Italian manufacturing champion, Scuderia Ferrari in the prestigious Formula One (F1) competition.
Jean Todt, who is now 77 years old, is a former racing driver who was born and raised in Pierrefort, a small village in the middle of a high mountain range in southern France.
Todt, who was born on February 25, 1946, became acquainted with the world of racing since he idolized legendary drivers such as F1 racer from England Jim Clark and rally driver from the US Dan Gurney.
