Vienna – ORF Director General Roland Weißmann has appointed Michael Pauser as the new Ö3 boss from September 1, 2023. The previous head of the office of the technical director Harald Kräuter follows the long-standing Ö3 boss Georg Spatt, as announced on Monday. Martin Gastinger will lead ORF TV entertainment from August 1st. Gastinger, most recently head of entertainment at ServusTV, has “great national and international experience in program development,” according to a broadcast. Weißmann has also extended Silvia Lahner as interim head of department Ö1. The head of Ö1-Kultur has been running the successful radio station on an interim basis since February 9, 2023.
