Dancer Wade Robson (40) has repeatedly claimed in recent years that the “King of Pop” sexually abused him as a child. 14 years following the death of Michael Jackson († 50), the case should still come to court.
As reported by TMZthe Court of Appeals in California has now given the green light for a lawsuit once morest Michael Jackson.
Plaintiff Wade Robson alleges that Jackson sexually abused him at his Neverland ranch when he was between the ages of 7 and 14.

Over the years, the 40-year-old had made different statements. In 2005, when Michael Jackson was tried and acquitted of sexually abusing another boy, Robson testified FOR the “King of Pop.” At the time, he said he slept in a bed with the famous pop star, but nothing happened. After Jackson’s death, however, he withdrew his testimony and filed a lawsuit once morest his company “MJJ Productions, Inc” in 2013, saying that years earlier he had testified falsely and for Jackson due to “complete manipulation and brainwashing”.

So far, lawyers for the Jackson company have argued that the company had no legal obligation to protect Robson or anyone else from Michael Jackson because it had no way of controlling the singer. The first court sided with the administrators of the estate. But the court of appeal saw things differently and made the provisional decision that there should be a trial.

In 2021, the alleged abuse victim failed in court with a lawsuit once morest Michael Jackson’s companies (MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures). However, the California Court of Appeals overturned the dismissal of the case by a Los Angeles County court in April 2021 and provisionally ruled that the lawsuit should be admitted following all and the case should be heard in court.
The lawsuit of another man, James Safechuck (45, also spoke in the documentary “Leaving Neverland”), is currently still before the Court of Appeal. He also claims to have been sexually abused by Michael Jackson as a child.
