MICHAEL Bolton reassures worried fans after reports of multiple police cars at his Connecticut home on August 13, 2024.

Bolton, 71, quickly responded to confirm he was fine. “All is well!! Just getting ready for a little landscaping project. Thanks for checking in!” he wrote.

In January, Bolton revealed he was recovering from surgery to remove a brain tumor. He said doctors discovered the mass before the holidays, which required immediate surgery.

“Thanks to the incredible medical team, the surgery was a success,” he wrote on Facebook at the time. “I am now recovering at home and surrounded by the incredible love and support of my family.”

Bolton also added that over the next few months, he will be “dedicating time and energy to recovery,” and mentioned he is taking a break from touring. “It’s always the hardest thing to postpone shows, but rest assured I am working hard to speed up my recovery and get back on the road soon.”

She posted an update on her Instagram account on March 31, sharing a screenshot telling her followers that she was “healing well and getting better every day.”

“I’ve been enjoying spending time with my daughter and granddaughter during this time at home, and practicing on my putting green whenever the weather isn’t rainy!” he added. “Thank you all so much for all the kind messages, and I look forward to seeing you all soon!!”

Prior to the initial announcement, the two-time Grammy winner released her 24th studio album, “Spark of Light,” in July 2023. Following the release, Bolton told PEOPLE that the album and its single “Beautiful World” were about sharing positivity during dark times.

He explained the optimism in “Spark of Light” was inspired by the pandemic, and the need to find positivity in the darkest of times.

“We basically looked at our friends and family and saw that they all really needed a little bit of light, that everything was really dark and oppressive and basically we were all just carrying a layer of fear into our everyday lives,” she said.

“We started to feel a responsibility to deliver on the hope and promise and all these feelings that seem so hard to reach, and it started to become a fun album.” (People/Z-3)
