Mice with two biological dads, Scientists do the unthinkable

The scientific world has successfully created a mouse from two biological parents without a female mouse. A new generation is created from the two fathers by developing the eggs from the male cells themselves. This successful experiment in mice is expected to revolutionize infertility treatment in the future and further increase human sex potential. An experiment led by Katsuhiko Hayashi at Kyushu University in Japan showed the results. He first presented his idea at the 3rd International Summit on Human Gene Editing. He firmly believed that it would be possible to produce eggs from male cells within ten years. Later experiments have finally seen the results.

Scientists have previously created mice from two fathers using genetic engineering, but this is the first time in history that an ovum has been created from male cells. The next step for Hayashi’s team is to test in humans and develop eggs from male cells.
