Mexican Foreign Minister Alicia Bárcena reported this Friday on the request for information made to her American counterpart, Antony Blinken, regarding Details of the plan to capture the famous drug trafficker Ismael Zambada, alias “El Mayo”“, who was arrested last week.

“We sent a communication to Antony Blinken asking for specific data,” Bárcena said during the morning press conference of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, in which she explained that she requested details about the plane that transported the drug trafficker, the aircraft’s registration number, takeoff location and the name of the pilot.

The Secretary of Foreign Affairs also explained that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had made arrangements to Find out if the United States had any kind of negotiation with the Sinaloa Cartelan organization to which “El Mayo” belongs.
