Mexican legislators condemned AMLO’s meddling in Peru and his support for Pedro Castillo

“We condemn the justification that the president has made regarding the coup attempt carried out by former president Pedro Castillo. Mexico must always be an example of respect for democracy and freedom and must reject any initiative to the contrary,” read a statement signed by congressmen from the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), National Action Party (PAN), Citizen Movement ( MC), among other benches.

Diplomatic crisis between Peru and Mexico due to statements by AMLO
