Mexican frightened by the passage of Russian planes in Ukraine

“Listen to the planes, listen to them. They weren’t lies, listen to them,” says Rosalia Tovar, a Mexican in Ukraine; thus she lived the passage of the Russian planes.

She, along with more than 30 Mexicans, are staying at the Nadia hotel in Ivano Frankivsk, regarding 600 kilometers from Kiev.

Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski reported that Russia was complying with his country’s “military infrastructure” and border posts. while he urged the population not to panic.

In a video message on Facebook, Zelenskiy announced the imposition of martial law throughout the country and said he spoke by phone with US President Joe Biden.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the Russian military operation seeks to “destroy the Ukrainian state, seize its territory by force and establish an occupation.”

The ministry urges the international community to “act immediately.” “Only united and strong actions can stop Ukraine’s aggression by Vladimir Putin,” he said.
