BOGOTÁ.- The Colombian authorities arrested in Bogotá to the mexican Luis Angel Castanedarequested in extradition by a court of USAwhere he must appear for crimes related to drug trafficking and money laundering, the Prosecutor’s Office reported this Wednesday.
Luis Ángel Castañeda, supposedly part of a transnational network of traffic cocaine and fentanyl from Colombia to the United Stateswhere the substances were sold in Detroit and other Michigan cities.
Members of the Technical Research Corps (CTI) of the Prosecutor’s Office, together with Migración Colombia and the Drug Control Administration (DEA), they placed the foreigner in the El Dorado airportwhere the alarm of an international arrest warrant against him went off.
A district court in Michigan is looking for him for drug trafficking and money laundering, according to information provided in a statement by the Prosecutor’s Office.
