This event, which will take place in the Parque Bicentenario in Mexico City, will not only feature the participation of great national artists, but will also offer an innovative format. Spotify has announced the addition of new artists to the lineup and they highlight the importance of Mexican hip-hop and reggaeton in the global music scene.
One of the additions is Rich Mafiathe joint project of Mexican rappers German and Gera MX. Both artists have had a huge impact on national hip-hop, and their presentation on MEXCLA Spotify will be the perfect opportunity to hear their most recent collaboration live. One that unites two of the most important labels of this genre in Mexico: Rich Vagos and Homegrown Mafia.
The second new addition is that of The Trinityan urban project made up of Do MalaFe, The Chain y The Boguetowho recently released a new album this week. These three artists have played a crucial role in the growth of reggaeton in Mexico, a genre that Spotify says has seen a 1,100% increase in streams in the last five years. The presentation of La Trinidad will mark the first time that this trio performs live together.
With these new additions, MEXCLA Spotify adds a total of 27 live showswhich is why it is positioned as one of the most important and largest festivals of the year.
