The government reported this Monday, in the midst of a new balance on the situation of the pandemic of the COVID-19 In our country, modifications in the Step-by-Step Plan.
One of the most prominent announcements was that the entire Metropolitan Region goes back to Preparation (Phase 3) starting this Wednesday January 19 at 05:00 hours.

At new Step-by-Step Plan are eliminated mobility restrictions, as it was at the beginning of the pandemic. However, they remain capacity regulations and of operation of activities to reduce crowds, especially in closed spaces.
Faced with this, what happens in this phase with the meetings in private residences, the restaurants waves sport activities?
Capacity and activities allowed in Preparation (Phase 3)
1. Classes and face-to-face activities in nurseries, kindergartens and school education establishments:
- Assistance: voluntary.
- Opening: compulsory.
2. Classes and face-to-face activities in higher education institutions:
3. Meetings in private residences:
- Maximum 10 people. They can be 25 if they all have a Mobility Pass.
4. Face-to-face attention to the public:
Examples: retail, museum, amusement parks, job fairs.
- Closed or open place: total capacity that meets 1 person every 6 m2. Minimum 4 clients.
5. Face-to-face service in restaurants, cafes and soda fountains:
- In closed spaces, only attendees with a Mobility Pass.
- There should always be 2 m. between the edges of the tables.
6. Activities in gyms and the like:
- In closed spaces, only attendees with a Mobility Pass.
- There should always be 2 m. between machines.
7. Physical activity and sport:
- Open place: maximum of 100 or 200 people if they all have a Mobility Pass.
- Closed place: maximum of 25 or 100 people if they all have a Mobility Pass.
8. Activities without interaction between attendees:
They must have a fixed location throughout the activity, 1 m. among participants, permanent use of a mask and no food consumption.
Examples: seminars, religious rites, public in sports venues, cinemas, theaters, circuses, etc.
If the enclosure has previous infrastructure with seats or fixed benches:
- Open place: 60% of the total defined capacity, with a Mobility Pass. If there is food consumption, it is reduced to 40% capacity.
- Closed place: 50% of the total defined capacity, with Mobility Pass. If there is food consumption, it is reduced to 30% capacity.
- If there is an assistant without a Mobility Pass, the maximum capacity is reduced by half.
If the enclosure does not have previous infrastructure with seats or fixed benches:
- Location of permanent assistants and 1 m. distance between them, and capacity of 1 person every 4 m2. If there is food consumption, 1.5 m. between attendees.
- Open place: 200 or 1,000 people if they all have a Mobility Pass.
- Closed place: 100 or 500 people if they all have a Mobility Pass.
9. Activities with interaction between attendees:
They do not maintain a fixed location during the activity, they do not maintain 1 m. distance between attendees, they do not wear a mask permanently or food is consumed.
Examples: activities and social events such as parties.
A capacity of 1 person every 6 m2 must be met, with a maximum of:
- Open place: 100 or 200 people if they all have a Mobility Pass.
- Closed place: 25 or 100 people if they all have a Mobility Pass.
- Prohibited in private residences.
10. Face-to-face activities in Clubs for the Elderly and Day Centers:
Day Centers:
- Group activities with a maximum of 5 people in a certain space.
- Attendees only with Mobility Pass.
Senior Adult Clubs:
- Maximum 10 people and 20 people if they all have a Mobility Pass.
