Gómez assured that he helps people who need it and that with the salary he earns he pays the services to those who need it.

“I don’t need that salary. What do I do with that salary? I dedicate it to charity! To clarity! One tells me: ‘brother, my services were cut off’. Come on, I’ll pay you. “In exchange for what have I paid for their services?” Said the official, while a person who was in the stands shouted: “Nothing!”

Gómez followed her intervention by saying: “A lady in a nearby neighborhood was starving. Tell me, what did I do? That is that you are right. It’s that Jesus, that’s why they crucified him, for caring about those most in need. Yes, that’s why they crucified him!”

The debate was held this Thursday, July 6, after being summoned by the bench of the Democratic Center Party, who questioned the administrative procedures and cost overruns in the hiring of Metroparques.
