The Medellín Metro has issued a statement to clarify the situation regarding a false offer circulating on Facebook. According to the post, through an unofficial account, people are invited to pay a fee to obtain unlimited trips for a year using the Cívica payment method.
The company clarifies that this offer is completely false and is not linked to its services. The only official channels to obtain and recharge the Cívica payment method are authorized points of sale, automatic recharge machines, the external recharge network, as well as the Nequi and Bancolombia digital wallets, the Bancolombia App and CívicaPay.

The Medellín Metro advises its users to obtain information only through its official channels (www.metrodemedellin.gov.co) and those of Cívica (www.cívica.metrodemedellin.gov.co), as well as its official social networks (@MetrodeMedellin and @TuCivica). The company also announces that it will take legal action to combat fraudulent use of its brand and protect users.
