Metro: The Gamal Abdel Nasser station will be closed next Friday in preparation for its operation as an interchange station

The Egyptian Company for the Management and Operation of the Underground announced the complete closure of the Gamal Abdel Nasser station on the first line next Friday, corresponding to September 30, 2022 throughout the day, from the beginning of operation at exactly five in the morning until the end of operation, in order to complete its preparation for operation as an interchange station with the third line with the opening new stations.

Ahmed Abdel Hadi, the official spokesman for the metro company, explained that the first line will operate normally on that day with all its stations from Helwan station to the new Marg station from the beginning of operation until the end of operation, except for stopping at Gamal Abdel Nasser station only to close it completely on that day.

The “metro spokesman” appealed to the public of passengers to contact us via the hotline service 16048 and also through the number designated for the WhatsApp service 0122116048 and through the official page of the Cairo Metro on the social networking site Facebook and also through the official website of the company cairometro.gov.eg in order to receive all complaints, suggestions and inquiries related to the metro The tunnels with the presence of complaints offices in a number of metro stations affiliated to the unified government complaints system affiliated to the Council of Ministers in order to receive all citizens’ complaints related to all parties, not just the metro.
