Kochi: Police have launched an investigation to find a person who wrote ‘BURN’ in graffiti on the outside of a Metro coach. Serious security breaches at Metro Yard will also be investigated. BURN is written on one side of the metro coach with spray paint.
‘First hit Kochi’ is abbreviated as ’22’ in two places. The police came to the scene following the news spread that an unidentified person had written ‘Kochi will be burnt down first’ on the Metro coach. There are indications that the movie appeared on Metro Coach on the 22nd of this month. Authorities have so far kept the incident a secret.
Kochi City Police Commissioner CH Nagaraju said that the graffiti was similar to the advertisement for the US crime thriller ‘Bernie’ released this year. It is unknown at this time what he will do following leaving the post.
Police checking surveillance cameras have obtained footage of two people moving suspiciously. The graffiti appeared on the outside of a train called Pampa. The writing is believed to have taken place while the train was parked in the Mutt Metro Yard. Muttam Yard is the highest security zone of the Kochi Metro.
