Dr. Manar Ghanem, a member of the Meteorological Authority’s media center, revealed that the country will be exposed to a new wave of weather fluctuations next week.
Ghanem told Masrawy that, starting next Monday, the weather will witness a decrease in temperatures by two to 4 degrees throughout, for a period of 72 hours (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday).
A member of the Media Center of the Meteorological Authority pointed out that there is a return of rain starting next Sunday, which will be light to medium on the northern coasts and northern Lower Egypt.
Ghanem confirmed that the rain will also continue for 72 hours (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday), light to medium rain in separate areas of the northern coasts and Lower Egypt governorates and at intermittent intervals, and it will not affect the daily activities.
Dr. Manar Ghanem, a member of the Meteorological Authority’s media center, announced that temperatures will continue to rise in all regions of the Republic, which started yesterday, Thursday, until next Sunday, and temperatures in Greater Cairo range between 20 and 21 degrees Celsius.
Ghanem told Masrawy, that the weather today, Friday, is expected to be warm during the day, and the maximum degree in Cairo will be 20 degrees, with increased periods of sunshine during the day, and during the night periods, there will be a noticeable decrease in temperatures, so that very cold weather will prevail at night on all regions of the republic.
A member of the media center explained that there is a dominant weather phenomenon, where water mist forms in the early morning on agricultural and desert roads and close to water bodies.
