“Thunderstorms could occasionally be strong, most likely this will be the case in the northeast and east of the Czech Republic, which is why we are directing today’s warning with a low degree of danger to this area. But it certainly does not mean that a stronger storm will occur in the entire warning area. It will be more of a local matter, when the accompanying phenomena will be fully manifested in one place, but maybe just a little further away there will be almost nothing,” the meteorologists wrote on Thursday.
Meteorologists except lightning they warned also before torrential rain with totals of around 30 mm, while in repeated thunderstorms it can be even more. People should also expect hail of up to two centimeters and gusty winds of up to 20 m/s, i.e. 70 km/h.
