Iman Shaker said, during a telephone conversation with the journalist Ahmed Moussa, on the “On My Responsibility” program on the “Sada Al-Balad” satellite channel, that the country witnessed an air depression affecting Egypt, which began today, and the rains tended to affect the governorates of Alexandria, Matrouh and Beheira.
She added that many of the governorates of Lower Egypt are now witnessing rains affecting Giza Governorate, Media Production City, Madinaty, Al-Obour and the Tenth of Ramadan, and it will continue throughout the night, thunderstorms in some areas, and the peak of this rain will be tonight.
She explained that the governorates of Port Said and Damietta are now affected by thunderstorms, and this rain will continue until tomorrow on the northern coasts. And its intensity will decrease tomorrow, and it may reach torrential rains in northern and central Sinai, and it will continue to be light in Cairo, pointing out that the rain peak will gradually decrease with the start of tomorrow morning.
