Metalliance up 34%

The turnover of Metalliance, a subsidiary of the Gaussin group, increased by 34% in 2022 to reach €44.2 million. It specializes in the study and manufacture of industrial equipment and mobile machinery intended for rail and road works as well as the construction of tunnels. The increase in activity results in particular from the increase in subcontracting for SA Gaussin and the “underground” activity. The order book is up sharply, at more than €103 million as of March 31, 2023.
The company is driven by the operation of the new 28,000 m2 industrial site in Saint-Vallier, dedicated to the assembly of the Gaussin group’s ATM and APM vehicles, particularly for the American market. The site is sized to eventually reach a production capacity of 1,600 vehicles per year. Beyond this activity on behalf of Gaussin, Metalliance is continuing its development with the delivery of vehicles for logistics for tunnels under construction around the world. Here too, electric vehicle technology is gaining ground over diesel vehicles.
