Drummer Robb Rivera experienced a sudden and alarming spike in his heart rate, prompting paramedics to rush him to the hospital.
The band later shared the details on their Instagram account. They explained, “Robb had a sudden shift in his heart rate that was dangerously high, and the paramedics were not able to get it down in time, so they took him to the hospital.As of now, his heart rate is stable, and they’re running tests. We’ll keep you all posted on his progress as news comes in. Send healing vibes our way so we can get our brother back on that drum throne.”
Lead singer Elias Soriano addressed fans in a heartfelt video,emphasizing that this incident was unprecedented. “You guys know we put on an energetic show, and this is never anything that really is any different than what we normally do,” he said.
The medical emergency occurred mid-performance during the song “(rěn-dǐsh’ən).” Witnesses reported seeing Rivera step away from his drum kit, pace the stage, and eventually exit, as detailed by Lambgoat.
