Multiple foreign media such as Guardian Nigerian Version and Brand Church reported that Meta recently unveiled various technologies for local content creators in Nigeria.

Mehta successfully completed a tech reveal event in the Nigerian capital, Lagos. Local content creators who showed interest in various fields such as music, comedy, and AR expertise attended the event.

Meta presented Avatars, Spark AR, and digital collectibles (NFT) at the gathering of various content creators. The purpose of this technology release is to prove the meta’s ability to prepare for the evolution of the metaverse world.

At the event site, discussions were held to establish a community with diversity among creators in addition to the disclosure of the technology that will serve as the basis for the metaverse world of meta and virtual content.
