Meta Platforms on Wednesday introduced its open-source AI tool called AudioCraft, which will help users create music and audio from text.
The AI tool comes with three models, AudioGen, EnCodec and MusicGen, and works for music, sound, compression and generation, Meta said.
MusicGen is formed using company-owned music and specifically licensed music, the company added.
Artists and industry experts have worried about copyright infringement because machine learning software works by recognizing and reproducing patterns from data pulled from the web.
