It’s a revolution in the world of social networks. The Meta group announces the launch of a paid plan on Facebook and Instagram in the European Union.

Subscribers, for 9.99 euros per month on computer and 12.99 euros on mobile application initially, will no longer see their personal data used for purposes. Meta specifies, however, that “the subscription will apply to all linked Facebook and Instagram accounts”, so it will only take one subscription to no longer have on both social networks at the same time.
Others will be able to “continue to use these services for free while seeing advertisements” targeted, further indicates Meta.
