Meta has announced new features for WhatsApp channels, including the ability to send voice notes or share surveys, as well as the option to designate multiple administrators.
The technology firm presented the channels in June last year, a “simple, reliable and private” one-way communication option to receive important news, both from friendly users and organizations, as it explained then.
In recent months, the company has been developing and incorporating new capabilities, with options such as the one that allows you to search for channels by country and the one that supports forwarding messages from other chats through these communication channels.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has now announced via his WhatsApp channel that he will be rolling out “a bunch of new features” for channels, including voice memos or multiple managers.
The manager has also confirmed that statuses and surveys can be shared, something that he described as “excellent” for resolving debates on the instant messaging platform.
Although Zuckerberg has not clarified when he will launch these features, it is worth mentioning that WABetaInfo had already anticipated the company’s intentions in recent months, noting these changes in different beta versions of the application, both for Android and iOS. .
