Page admins can use broadcast channel features like polls to get instant feedback from their community, upload behind-the-scenes photos or videos, and use voice notes for more authentic expression.
In countries where channels are already available, administrators can start a new channel directly from their pages. When the first message is sent, followers will receive a single notification inviting them to join the channel — which will allow them to perform actions such as reacting to messages and voting in polls.
Unlike what happens on WhatsApp, where there is a tab dedicated to them, on Facebook the transmission channels will appear as messages in the chat list. Whenever new content is published, a notification will be sent to users — who can mute it at any time, it is worth noting.
Even though the feature is expected to be launched on a large scale in the coming weeks, users can now follow some specific channels, such as Netflix e o do popular game League of Legends.
