Facebook-owned Meta and Visa, a financial technology firm, have opened new headquarters in Dubai. They have established regional headquarters in Middle East and Africa in Dubai.
Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan has announced the opening of regional headquarters by international tech giants. Both headquarters are located in Dubai Internet City. The announcement was made by the Crown Prince following visiting the offices.
Meta Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Zanberg also attended the event. MetaLeite, which uses social media platforms such as Facebook and WhatsApp, will now serve more than three billion customers in the Middle East and Africa region, officials said.
