The Met Gala, the most fan and most fashionable event in the Big Apple, and probably in the world in general, last night (Monday) drained all the biggest stars and stars to the famous steps of the Metropolitan Museum in New York. The theme of this year’s exhibition is “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”, or in Hebrew “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”, while the theme of the gala evening was “Garden Of Time”. At the same time as the fashionable opening shot of the much-anticipated exhibition, a demonstration once morest Israel took place in the atmosphere of the theme “anti-Semitism is reawakening”. Despite their efforts, the pro-Palestinian protestors failed to sabotage the gala.

Anti-demonstrations aside, we want to focus on beauty for a moment and tell you that in the exhibition that was launched last night and will run until September 2, regarding 250 dresses and fashion accessories taken from the archives of the Metropolitan Museum in the last 400 years, and reborn, are on display. The connecting thread – nature, time, and the combination of both which is responsible for the cycle of life. As per the best tradition, the celebs were asked to dress accordingly for the prestigious gala evening. Who met the task successfully, and who failed miserably and made us say what the hell? Get them.
The best dressers
Zendaya
Ten cabins of style descended upon the world, and Zendaya got it all. The most vocal and most talented actress ever, dropped our jaws with two dizzying looks, and left dust and pollen for everything else. She wove the nature motif into two spectacular looks in a couture mind craft. The first look – a shiny and sculpted chiffon dress in sea colors, on the purity of green and blue, from the designer house of John Galliano for Margiela. Three-dimensional elements such as vines and birds were added to the dress, in those bewitching metallic shades, together with the head piece, the dramatic makeup and the attitude full of presence – we got a look that you can’t take your eyes off of. In the second block, Zendaya turned up the drama level to full volume. The actress walked in a vintage couture dress from the Givenchy archive. The black dress, which was sewn from scraps of fabric, first appeared in the world in 1996, and Zendaya, in accordance with the theme of the exhibition, breathed new life into it. And the shoe: the crazy head piece designed like a bouquet of flowers, including the stems.

Jennifer Lopez
J.Lo, a natural phenomenon that time cannot, is simply mesmerizing in a transparent and silver Schiaparelli dress, which was inspired by the life cycle of the butterfly, which transforms from its cocoon into a beautiful creature. We also swooned over the necklace, and loved the choice of natural makeup.

Gigi Hadid
We were hoping that she would wear something at least as badass as the statements she spread on the network following the seven in October, but what can we do that Gigi played it in a white, sculpted and spectacular floral dress by the edgy designer Thom Browne. According to Vogue magazine, more than 70 people worked for more than 13,500(!) hours on this amazing dress. Respect. They succeeded big time.

Al Fanning
The sweet actress who is growing up with so much grace and style, has been providing us with playful looks since her childhood. She does not disappoint this time either, and looks like a princess from a futuristic Disney movie, in a transparent ice-like dress with glass birds on her shoulders, as if they were dressing her as if she were Cinderella. The dress was created by the French fashion house in Balmain. Here, too, we liked the choice of make-up and hair on the purity of the natural.

Kim Kardashian
At first glance, we said “hmm ok”. On second glance, we said “Okay, there’s a part to it.” At the third look we already liked it. It’s a little difficult at first to take in what’s going on here, so we’ll sort it out: Kimmy surprised in a leaf-like silver lace dress, designed by John Galliano for Margiela. Underneath, she wears a tight-fitting silver corset, with the lace dress folded over it to look like a skirt. On top she threw on a gray cardigan – the last thing you’d expect to see at the Met Gala, but trust Kardashian who already knows how to make such an item hot. The unexpected look was enough to cause controversy online, because although it is beautiful and special, the narrow waist effect given by this very, very tight corset is both scary and sends a disturbing message under the auspices of the slimming regime.

Sarah Jessica Parker
Carrie Bradshaw was proud: Sarah Jessica Parker looks the height of chic in a Richard Quinn couture crinoline dress. The apparently pale dress is decorated with embroidered white roses, on top of which are embellished silver elements. And the accessories? hysteria. We loved the sophisticated straw hat, the spectacular bag, the pearl necklace that reaches almost to the floor and get the tights!

Amanda Seyfried
The devastating actress wore a silver dress studded with delicate pink flowers by Prada. The element of surprise: under the silver tiara of leaves that she wears on her head, her hair, which is dyed silver and brushed to enhance the impact of the look, completes the performance. We also loved the purple lipstick. By the way, at the request of Seyfried, who wanted to promote an ecological message, the dress was created from fabrics that were used to create a Prada collection in 2009.

The worst dressers
Lizo
The infamous singer, who was involved this year in a dubious affair during which she was revealed to be sexually harassing, violent and xenophobic, decided to make a comeback. What was going through her mind when she decided to do this in this block? We have no answer.

Demi Moore
Demi Moore had good intentions, we’re sure of that. The concept is amazing and the execution is stunning, but the cut is so unflattering.
