Paris Saint-Germain player Lionel Messi has teamed up with his Brazilian friend Neymar to try to limit the authority of young Frenchman Kylian Mbappe within the club, following a series of problems that erupted between the latter and Neymar.
Mbappe refused Neymar to take the penalty kick in the last Paris Saint-Germain match once morest Montpellier, which sparked a dispute between the players, while Neymar “preferred” a tweet criticizing Mbappe and his monopoly on penalty kicks.
And the Spanish newspaper, El Nacional, revealed that Messi and Neymar feel the danger of Mbappe’s influence on important decisions in the club, which prompted them to form an alliance to confront the young French star, who extended his contract with the French capital club this summer.
Social media users circulated a clip showing Mbappe pushing Neymar with his shoulder during the last match in order to take the ball from him to pay the second penalty kick, following he missed the first kick.
French media reports revealed earlier that Mbappe asked the Paris Saint-Germain administration to get rid of the Brazilian Neymar, who moved to the team in the summer of 2017, for 222 million euros, as the most expensive deal in the history of football.
