With the VR3 and VR4, Jonsbo has released two new housings that are dedicated to airflow. For this purpose, the housing is surrounded on three sides by a single large mesh element made of steel.

Jonsbo brings with the VR3 and VR4 two special cases on the market. Both models rely on an air-permeable design in which the front and side panels are made of mesh. This should improve the airflow in both cases, whereby the cooling in the small VR3 should benefit in particular. The look is also very reminiscent of that SSUPD Meshlicious.

VR3 and VR4: tower and midi tower in mesh design

The VR3 is a compact one Mini-ITX case in tower design, which has two chambers inside. On the one hand there is space for the SFX power supply, a Mini-ITX motherboard and a CPU cooler with a height of up to 70 mm. The second chamber offers space for graphics cards with a maximum length of 325 mm. The GPU is connected via the supplied PCIe 4.0 riser cable, which is placed behind the main circuit board. It is also possible to mount a 280mm radiator in the tower.

That Jonsbo VR4 is the big sister of the VR3 and is more like a classic one Midi-Tower with space for larger components. Accordingly, mainboards up to the ATX standard and coolers with a height of 167 mm can be installed here. Alternatively, you can also 360-mm-Radiator mount in the housing. Graphics cards may also be a maximum of 345 mm long. Ultimately, the VR4 has dimensions of 216 x 440 x 398 mm, which means that the ATX case is still comparatively compact.
