Andrey Merzlikin
March 24 Andrey Merzlikin turns 50 years old. He will celebrate his anniversary with a creative evening on the stage of the Moscow Gogol Theater, where he will perform with the legendary musician Yuri Bashmet, and, of course, arrange a feast with his relatives. In addition to his parents, wife Anna (they recently celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary), four children, the actor’s inner circle includes the family of his younger sister Elena. Her husband is a very rich man who, according to Merzlikin, not so long ago gave him a foreign business-class car.
– I drive the latest model Mercedes, – Merzlikin boasted during his tour in Yekaterinburg. – The car was presented to me by a philanthropist, the patron of my work. He is my sister’s husband. I might have bought a Mercedes myself, but I didn’t because I was happy with my Volvo, which I drove for 10 years. My sister’s husband, knowing my character, made such a gift. And he became our family car.
Andrey has a complicated history with cars. In the years of his turbulent youth, with parties from dawn to dusk, drinking and partying, one day he fell into the Moscow River right on the car and was trapped under the water column.
Only by some miracle the actor survived. When the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene, they recognized in the man that same Dimon Scalded from the cult film “Boomer”. And they advised me to go to the temple first. After all, to survive following such a fall might only be a miracle.
Sex and everything but drugs
That story changed Merzlikin’s life forever. Now he regularly attends church with his wife and children. And as an instructive story, he tells the heirs how fame and easy money turned his head. Then, they say, he tried almost everything. Except for “fool”.
– There were no drugs in my life – I declare quite responsibly, – Andrey repeats.
He settled down at the age of 32 and began to lead an ascetic lifestyle. Started running. To get in shape, I ate almost only one rocket. Read books. And he was waiting for her – a girl with big blue eyes and good business acumen. And waited. Anna at the time of their meeting worked as a casting director.
Prior to this, with his rampant lifestyle, Andrei managed not to appear in high-profile novels with any actress, socialite or singer. I assured:
– Before Anna, I did not have a single civil marriage, not a single long-term love affair. Hormones played – there were some relationships, but everything was not serious.
He did not hide only that he really liked Maria Mironova, with whom he starred in the film “Swing”. But further than sympathy, they say, things did not go. Maria at that time had a relationship with actor Alexei Makarov.

Andrey has been a role model for 17 years now. A caring husband, a wonderful father, a true Christian.
Merzlikin openly despises men who leave their wives “not the first freshness.”
