Since last week, the Yucatecan bullfighting fans began to warm up with the first bullfight of the season at the Plaza Mérida.

In short, its organizers told us that “it will be something big, very special, on par with Mérida.”

And yesterday they made it public. But it was not one, but two posters, one that tells of a bullfight that has bullfighting and hopeful arguments. And the other, a trio of very high-flying ones.

The fans, from here and beyond these lands, reacted favorably both to the minor bullfight that will feature Eduardo Neyra and Bruno Aloi, who recently made a strong appearance at Las Ventas in Madrid. Also because there is a great opportunity to see a Yucatecan who has been breaking ground and knocking on doors, like Julio Ventura. And the first bullfight as well, with figures like Diego Ventura, bullfighting on horseback, and Joselito Adame, together with Ernesto Javier “Calita”.

Mérida, given the lack of activity in the Plaza México, and the “soft” posters at the big fairs in the country, especially due to the presence of bulls, is the one that has taken the lead in recent years.
