A Mercedes-AMG presented the new GT2 Pro this Friday (3). In general, it arrives as a derivative of the model GT2presented by the brand last year with the proposal of being an option for non-professional pilots, that is, the so-called “Gentleman Drivers“.

In other words, it is a track car that is not approved for racing, which makes it a vehicle aimed at those who want to have fun on their track days. As expected, it is not exactly an affordable car.

As for the car’s main attributes, it is worth mentioning that it comes with a 4-liter AMG twin-turbo V8 engine. In this way, it is capable of delivering 707 hp of power, but it comes with a feature called Push2Pass. Thus, the driver can have the extra power of 750 hp available for a short period.

Other features include rear-wheel drive, four-way adjustable shock absorbers. Furthermore, it comes with optimized aerodynamics, alloy wheels and compared to the traditional GT2, the car comes with a new steering wheel, equipped with additional controls.

As expected, the car is not cheap and can be purchased for 479 thousand euros, which would be equivalent to R$2,520,581 in direct conversion. Customers who purchase the model will be able to participate in the AMG Racing Serues, which gives them the chance to participate in several track days on European tracks.
