Gabonese international striker from Saint-Etienne, Denis Bouanga, has been transferred to Los Angeles FC, which plays in the North American Football Championship (MLS), the club from Saint-Etienne, resident of Ligue 2, announced on Friday.
Aged 27, Bouanga, who signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with LAFC, arrived in Forez in 2019 from Nîmes for a transfer of 4 million euros. The transaction with the Californian club is valued at 5 million euros by the press.
The ex-Stéphanois joins a franchise where already evolve the international Italian Giorgio Chiellini et Welshman Gareth Bale.

With the Greens, Bouanga scored 28 goals and signed 16 assists in 110 games, including a Coupe de France final (in 2020 once morest PSG, 1-0 defeat) and Europa League matches. Before playing in Nîmes in L1 (2018-2019), Bouanga evolved in Lorient where he was trained (2014-2018) with a loan to Strasbourg in National (2015-2016).
