Brazilians are listening less. This is what indicates a study carried out jointly by Instituto Locomotiva published by Agência Brasil. The data collected indicates that 10.7 million people suffer from hearing loss. Of this total, 2.3 million have severe disabilities.
Faced with such an alarming situation, there is also a growing demand for hearing aids that can help in the treatment of hearing impairments. One research carried out by Data Bridge indicated that this is a very promising market. The report identified that, in 2022, 580 million dollars were spent on devices of this type in Brazil.
Later, in 2030, the research predicts an even more considerable increase for the sector. The estimate is that, annually, around 980 million dollars will be invested in hearing aids for Brazilians.
It was in this universe that businesswoman Danielle Guieiro and speech therapist Luciene Machado decided to invest. United, the entrepreneurs presented the franchise network Listening to EVERYONE. Part of the Grupo Cartão de Todos portfolio, the company sells hearing aids with service focused on audiences C and D.
“This is a market that catches our attention for different reasons. Firstly, after a series of studies, we realized a certain projection that the segment has and the different possibilities of offer. And also, of course, because when delivering a device to a person, we believe that it can bring a better quality of life to that person. This motivates us”, confesses Guieiro, CEO of Audição de Todos.
To keep up with demand, Audição de Todos has just launched a new unit. After good sales results in the Barreiro region, in Belo Horizonte, the new space was installed in the Venda Nova region, also in the capital of Minas Gerais.
“As the name of the business says, we want to provide health for everyone. Let’s demystify once and for all that purchasing a cutting-edge hearing aid costs a lot and is inaccessible. Quality of life is part of the business”, says Machado, partner of the franchise network.
In its portfolio, the company has several models of hearing aids. The unit also offers accessories for product maintenance, such as batteries, molds and dehumidifiers. “Confirming a new unit here is not only a marketing strategy, but a public health one. Since we can facilitate access to hearing health for a large population niche”, says Guieiro. “After all, health is for everyone. Everywhere”, adds Machado.
