Angels?… or Demons?… they ask themselves Sons of Marijuana: „This is a compilation of demos in which all songs later on ended up being part of Mephistofeles‘ 4th studio album Violent Theatre.“
„All songs on this album were recorded and mixed on just 4 tracks with a Tascam Portastudio 424 Mk2 tape machine device… (Because of that: all tracks lack from vocals as these songs were recorded live) 2 mics for drums (kick and overhead), 1 mic for the guitar cabinet, 1 mic for the bass cabinet. All songs were recorded between early 2020 until january 2021” continue to be recorded by Gabriel Ravera (guitars), Magic Fingers (bass) and Ivan Sacharczuk (drums).
Following this, the band is practicing for 2022 Violent Theatre channeled material here, repeated and flirted with as in The Meaning of All Evil with the jam or leaves Buried in Worms try a fair appendix, always with a purely instrumental lo-fi sound. As one would expect Angels?… or Demons?… (Demo) – Demo(s) is left as a play on words – but overall it is almost exclusively interesting for hardcore fans of the Argentinian psychedelic stoner doom rockers – and not essential even for them.
