Mental problems: Justin Bieber suspends world tour with immediate effect
The singer has put his Justice World Tour on hold due to health issues. The organizers of the Zurich concert assume that his Switzerland gig in 2023 will take place anyway.
The Canadian singer announced on Instagram that he was canceling his current tour with immediate effect. He thanked his fans for their support during his battle with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome and explained that he currently needs to focus on himself before he can perform once more.
Performing in Brazil over the weekend, he candidly wrote, “After getting off the stage, exhaustion hit me and I realized I need to prioritize my health now.”
“So I’m going to take a break for now. I’ll be fine, but I need time to rest and recover,” Justin Bieber said in a statement. According to the organizers of his Zurich concert in the Hallenstadion, it is currently assumed that his “Justice World Tour” will continue to take place on January 18 as planned.
Ramsay Hunt syndrome is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox, according to the Mayo Clinic website. The syndrome is an outbreak of shingles that affects the facial nerve near one ear and can lead to unilateral facial paralysis and hearing loss.
