ALMERÍA.- This Thursday, January 26, the Business Confederation of the Province of Almería, Asempal, will celebrate the Occupational Risk Prevention conference “Mental Health and Well-being at Work” which focuses on the prevention of psychosocial risks in the work environment.
The event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the Asempal headquarters, (Avda. Cabo de Gata nº 29, 1st floor), and will be inaugurated by the president of the Confederation, José Cano García, and the territorial delegate of Employment, Business and Self-Employment, Amós García Hueso.
The conference will feature a presentation by Miguel Ángel Mañas Rodríguez, Professor of Social and Organizational Psychology at the UAL, who will analyze, from a practical approach, the attitudes and skills necessary to reduce psychosocial risks. Anxiety, depression, job satisfaction and motivation, burnout syndrome, job stress, and preventive measures to improve emotional and psychosocial quality at work will be addressed, among other aspects.
To do this, it will use the “Learning By Doing” methodology, with debates, real cases, group dynamics and role-playing, among others, that facilitate the attendees the practical application of the contents in their day-to-day life, both individually, as team and organizational.
This information session organized by the Confederation is included in the project “Technical Assistance for Preventive Culture for SMEs”, promoted by Asempal and financed by the Andalusian Institute for Occupational Risk Prevention (IAPRL) of the Junta de Andalucía.
Through this project, Asempal has been carrying out a series of actions that include both advice, technical assistance and resolution of queries derived from the practical and material application of preventive measures, as well as holding face-to-face information sessions.
