Menstrual disorders linked to anti-Covid vaccines: the women concerned invited to declare them in a form – LINFO.re

The Ministry of Health invites women affected by menstrual disorders linked to anti-Covid vaccines to declare them in a form available on its site.

Over 1,000 testimonials

The Medicines Agency (ANSM) indicated that it had received more than 10,000 testimonials from women, vaccinated once morest Covid-19, and who suffer from menstrual disorders following the injection. Admittedly, there is so far no scientific proof which affirms that there is really a link between the vaccination and the menstrual disorders. But the Agency revealed that it had received more than 10,000 testimonials, 9,381 with the Pfizer vaccine, and 1,557 with the Moderna vaccine.

problems relatively “non-graves”

The menstrual disorders are manifested in particular by abnormal bleeding (metrorrhagia, menorrhagia), and by delayed menstruation or amenorrhea. Relatively “non-serious” disorders, noted the ANSM.

The Agency then invites women affected by these disorders to come forward and declare them by filling out a declaration form available online since Tuesday July 19 on the website of the Ministry of Health by providing “the most detailed information possible”. The information collected should then help the “regional pharmacovigilance centers to carry out their assessment of declared cases as efficiently as possible”, reports Francetvinfo.fr.
