The man involved in the case, Theodore Ellis, has been arrested.

According to the “New York Post” report, the incident happened at regarding 4:45 pm on the 5th, when a 52-year-old woman was walking on the platform of the New York subway Bronx Jackson Avenue Station (Jackson Avenue), and was suddenly held by the shoulders of Theodore, a man behind Pushing down the rails, causing cuts to the head and arms, others quickly pulled the woman up to ensure safety. Fortunately, no train came in at the time, but Theodore fled before the police arrived, and the woman was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Strangely, the woman and Theodore did not know each other at all, so the police judged that this was a random attack. After the murderer’s appearance was announced, a reward of $3,500 was offered, hoping that the public might provide relevant clues. Soon, a Metropolitan Transportation Agency (MTA) worker recognized Theodore from a wanted poster at the station and called the police. When the police arrived, they arrested him and handcuffed him.

Theodore said he mightn’t remember if the woman said anything that annoyed him, but admitted that he accidentally pushed too hard. The police investigation found that Theodore had a long history and had been arrested many times, including serious harassment, drugs, robbery, major theft, animal cruelty, resisting arrest, assault and other crimes.
