MINISTER of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Menpora RI) Dito Ariotedjo hopes that the Indonesian Karate-Do Institute (Inkai) National Championship (Kejurnas) will become a forum for athletes to hone their abilities.
Menpora Dito also hopes that the athletes can show their enthusiasm, toughness and dedication in the sport of karate by fighting as hard as they can, recording achievements and making Indonesia proud.
“Remember that behind every victory, there is hard work, discipline and an unyielding spirit which is the foundation for success. Make this championship a forum for honing skills and strengthening brotherhood among us,” said Menpora Dito, quoted from the official website of the Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sports, Saturday.

Menpora Dito added, as one of the leading sports in the National Sports Grand Design (DBON) as stated in Presidential Regulation Number 86 of 2021, karate has an important role in producing athletes who are able to make the nation proud.
“We want to ensure that every development and competition is sustainable, because from here prospective athletes are born who will become the pride of Indonesia,” said Minister of Youth and Sports Dito.
At the opening ceremony of the 2024 Inkai National Championship at GOR Ciracas, East Jakarta, Friday (8/11), Menpora Dito was awarded the Dan 7 (Black Belt) Honorary Inkai.

The black belt was awarded by the General Chairperson of PP Inkai Ivan Yulivan who was also witnessed by the General Chairperson of Central KONI Marciano Norman.
Minister of Youth and Sports Dito expressed his gratitude for the honor. According to him, being awarded an honorary black belt in Inkai is not only an award, but also a symbol of the brotherhood and commitment that we uphold together in advancing the sport of karate in Indonesia.
“We, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, deeply appreciate the Inkai Central Management for their dedication and commitment in organizing this championship.
