Memphis defeated New York and was near the top of the West | Out of Soccer

The Memphis Grizzlies continue to have a regular season in the NBA following this Sunday night they beat the New York Knicks and got their 12th victory.

It was an even 127-123 disputed at Madison Square Garden in favor of those from Tennessee who completed their third win in the last five games played.

In the first quarter there were many movements on the scoreboard which began with a clear 10-2 in favor of the Grizzlies, but the Knicks gradually came back to reach the second quarter 26-25 for New York.

Already in the second set, the visitors managed to overcome the result and increased their difference by seven points, so they reached 52-54 at halftime.

In the third quarter, Memphis was finally able to pull away and at some point during this time pulled out a 12-point lead. Finally, in the last quarter, New York got closer on the scoreboard, but in the end both teams would be four behind.

Key for the Grizzlies in this victory was Ja Morant who had a triple double of 27 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds followed by Dillon Brooks with 23 points, four assists and rebounds.

For his part, Jalen Brunson’s contribution to the Knicks, which was 30 points, nine assists and five rebounds, was not enough to win the game.

It should be noted that Memphis is third in the West with a 12-8 mark and in the next game they will face the Minnesota Timberwolves while the Knicks, who are 11th in the East, will play the Detroit Pistons.
