This October, we gathered in Bucharest with over 400 passionate LGBTI activists and allies hailing from various corners of Europe and Central Asia for ILGA-Europe’s Annual Conference. It was truly an unforgettable journey! Over the course of four inspiring days, attendees connected deeply, exchanged valuable insights, engaged in strategic planning, and fortified resilience for the challenges that lie ahead, all enveloped in an atmosphere brimming with support and mutual empowerment. This year’s resonant theme, The Call to Courage, echoed throughout each panel discussion, workshop, and informal conversation as we confronted pressing issues and explored innovative pathways for progress. And, of course, we enjoyed delightful moments of celebration as well, including a spirited karaoke night and an exhilarating closing gala featuring captivating drag performances alongside local DJs spinning electrifying tracks.
