In recent operations in Antioquia, authorities made significant seizures and arrests.
In Rionegro, during a search at the Temporary Detention Center, 300 doses of marijuana, 200 doses of cocaine base, 50 doses of tusi, 250 additional grams of marijuana, two iPhone cell phones and several knives were found. All the items were made available to the competent authority.
In Bagre, a 43-year-old man was captured in the La Pesebrera sector, La Floresta neighborhood.
The detainee, a presumed member of the Colombian Gaitanista Army (EGC), was arrested with a pistol and is accused of manufacturing, trafficking and carrying weapons, as well as restricted-use ammunition and explosives. He was placed at the disposal of the competent authority for prosecution.
In Guarne, a man was arrested in the Chaparral area for the crime of manufacturing, trafficking and carrying firearms and ammunition. During a search, he was found in possession of a Llama Cassidy revolver. The detainee was transferred to the Prosecutor’s Office in Guarne, Antioquia.
