Member of the European Parliament Michael Wallace came to the meeting in a Torino T-shirt with the name of the Russian midfielder Alexey Miranchuk.
The politician wished good luck to Torino in the match of the 7th round of the Italian championship with Sassuolo. The match itself eventually ended with the victory of “Sassuolo” with a score of 1:0.
Wallace is a native of Ireland. In the 2019 European Parliament elections, he was elected MEP for the Southern District.
Miranchuk moved to Torino in the summer transfer window on loan from Atalanta. The player’s agreement with the club runs until 2023.
This season, Miranchuk took part in one match in the Italian championship, in which he scored one goal. At the moment, Torino is in ninth place in the standings of the Italian championship, with 10 points.
