After being engaged for almost two years, the renowned presenter of “Yo me llama” Melina Ramírez and the actor of “La Niña” and “El Señor de los Cielos”, Juan Manuel Mendoza, got married civilly in a small ceremony in Cali, their hometown.
Through a publication on their social networks, the couple surprised their followers with photographs of the civil wedding, which fans had been waiting for since the end of 2021, when the actor proposed to the model while kneeling on a beach, facing the sunset.
“Yes I accept. I love you. Our celebration has begun,” were the words with which Ramírez and Mendoza accompanied the publication of the marriage. During the wedding, she wore a short dress, tight to her body, with fringes and rhinestones on the top, while he opted for classic pants and a white shirt.

The love story of Melina and Juan Manuel
Melina Ramírez and Juan Manuel Mendoza have been in a relationship for just over three years, following the presenter ended her relationship with athlete and former participant of the “Desafío Superhumanos” Mateo Carvajal.
The model told Don Juan magazine that her relationship with the athlete and father of her only son ended before he was born and that it was precisely because of the breakup that she decided to travel to Cali to be close to her family. Once there, Ella Ramírez met the Cali actor, who was a childhood friend of her sister and with whom she felt an inexplicable connection.
However, she decided to be very clear from the beginning regarding their recent separation. “I was super honest and told him: ‘Look, I’m broken, but I think it’s cool to talk and meet you.’” The model’s plans changed following the actor invited her to a farm for her birthday and, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, they had to lock themselves up together for several months.
“The next day they locked us in due to a pandemic and I mightn’t leave there once more for three months,” the presenter told the same medium. All that time together served to reinforce the love between them, until they finally left the farm as a couple. Although they already said yes civilly, their fans are still waiting for the date of their church marriage.
