The project is inspired by classic illustrations made by American artist Duan Bryers.

“I’ve always dreamed of recreating the pin-up Hilda by designer Duan Bryers and Annie boarded with the drive of a TGV and above all with all her benevolence as a social worker. Photographer and social worker, she wants to promote body diversity and support people who want it towards greater acceptance and self-confidence.

The podcast host The Fallopians had only good words for the photographer who is also a social worker.

“Whether it’s for the pure pleasure of doing a photo session, to push your limits in a safe space or for a follow-up of self-esteem support (which can end with a photo session) Annie is the only person I know who has a background in both areas.”

Since being posted on Tuesday, the photos have been shared more than 400 times and garnered more than 6,000 reactions.
