The wife of Britain’s Prince Harry, former American actress Meghan Markle, launched a podcast “podcast” aimed at combating stereotypes regarding women, and hosted the first episode of it, tennis star Serena Williams.
The blog, which she called “Architypes”, inspired by the name of her son Archie as well as the Archwell Foundation, which she founded with her husband, consists of 12 episodes, which include “intimate and frank” conversations between the Duchess of Sussex and her guests, according to the definition provided by the “Spotify” platform. .
“There are words we hear a lot in the media, on the Internet and in homes, including crazy and hysterical,” said Markle, who will also meet experts and historians. “We will go back to the roots of these words, and understand why we continue to use them.”
In the first episode, the conversation between Meghan Markle and Serena Williams, two friends from Los Angeles, focused on ambition and the different meaning that the word can take when applied to a woman.
Serena Williams announced in early August that she was retiring following a 25-year career in which she won 23 Grand Slam titles, saying she wanted to “focus” on her role as a “mother” and her “spiritual” goals.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex withdrew from their royal obligations in Britain in 2020, and moved to California, where they currently live with their two children in a super-rich neighbourhood.
Since moving to the United States, they have signed several contracts, one with the “Netflix” platform, and another with the “Spotify” platform.
Prince Harry is expected to publish his memoirs by the end of this year.
