Meghan and Harry: Their Incredibly Awkward Moment During ‘Trooping the Colour’ Parade

That’s it. This Wednesday, June 2, the platinum jubilee of Elizabeth II, 70 years of reign, starts with a bang. From 11 a.m., the long-awaited “Trooping the Colour” parade launched the festivities. The opportunity to come back to a funny sequence between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry during this same event in 2019.

A year following their wedding and well before their Californian exile, the Sussexes were on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with the Queen and the rest of the royal family. The couple, filmed by cameras around the world, seemed to be going through an intriguing moment of embarrassment, where the prince, his face closed, seemed to be lecturing his wife dryly. “Turn around…Look”, he would have slipped to him just before the national anthem rang out. Meghan Markle, she looked somewhat distraught.

This year, the Sussexes will not be deprived of a balcony, but will obviously appear before the British in a second time, without Elizabeth II.
